Court Finds Ballot Language to be Misleading to Voters

Jefferson City, MO – Cole County Circuit Court Judge Patricia S. Joyce ruled on Tuesday in a legal challenge brought by the Advancement Project, Fair Elections Legal Network, American Civil Liberties Union of Eastern Missouri, and the American Civil Liberties Union of Kansas and Western Missouri on behalf of nine Missourians that the ballot language to a proposal to amend the state constitution’s voting requirements is misleading and invalidated the proposed amendment.

Three Bills Limit Voter Registration Drives and Make Absentee Voting More Difficult

Washington, DC – Today, the Michigan Senate passed three bills – Senate Bill 751, Senate Bill 754, and Senate Bill 803 – that amend Michigan’s election laws.
